## Key facts
- Announced 2 October 2026 in Paris; applications expected Q4 2026.
- Main applicant: USD 350,000 non-refundable National Treasury contribution, or USD 800,000 government bond.
- Family (treasury option): spouse USD 100,000; child 18–25 (unmarried, no children) USD 100,000; child under 18 USD 25,000. Family of four: USD 500,000.
- No residence requirement; dual citizenship permitted; citizenship alone does not create Argentine tax residence (per announced framework).
- Review: APCI with intelligence, UIF, Security and Interior reports; decision by DNM within 30 business days of APCI recommendation.
- Legal basis: Citizenship Law 346, Art. 2 bis (added by Emergency Decree 366/2025 of 29 May 2025); procedure Decree 524/2025. Validity of DNU 366/2025 has been challenged in court.
- Ordinary naturalisation now requires 2 years' continuous residence with no departures.
- Passport: 169 destinations (Henley, Jan 2026); Schengen visa-free; UK ETA; US visa required; E-2 subject to 3-year domicile rule for investor nationality.
