The bond option
The USD 800,000 bond's maturity, yield, transferability and family amounts have not been published. If repaid at maturity, its true cost will depend on the opportunity cost of capital, the coupon and Argentina's sovereign credit risk. Until terms are published, it cannot be compared directly with the treasury contribution.
